Displaced is the sound of standing inside a version of yourself that no longer fits. What once felt natural slowly became a shape defined by expectation: the version that people knew, the path already taken, the identity attached to the past. On the surface, everything still made sense, but internally there was a growing disconnect between the artist I had been and the direction I was being pulled toward. This track captures that unstable in-between state. Not yet free, not fully trapped, but aware that something has shifted. Displaced is the first realization that belonging to the past means abandoning the future.
