Displaced is a story about feeling out of place and searching for where you belong. It explores the difficulty of breaking patterns without knowing what life will look like once they are gone. It is the feeling that something is wrong without knowing what “right” is supposed to feel like. It deals with the anxiety of the unknown and the constant trade-off between security and freedom.
1. // Aggravate //
Aggravate is the first sign of discomfort. Not a breaking point, but a slow pressure building beneath the surface. It begins as a vague resistance: the feeling that you no longer fit the expectations around you, and that creative freedom is becoming harder to reach. It is the first warning signal of a system beginning to malfunction, while the exact cause remains difficult to pinpoint. The tension does not explode or resolve. It lingers, grows, and slowly becomes impossible to ignore.
2. // Displaced //
Displaced is the sound of standing inside a version of yourself that no longer fits. What once felt natural slowly became a shape defined by expectation: the version that people knew, the path already taken, the identity attached to the past. On the surface, everything still made sense, but internally there was a growing disconnect between the artist I had been and the direction I was being pulled toward. This track captures that unstable in-between state. Not yet free, not fully trapped, but aware that something has shifted. Displaced is the first realization that belonging to the past means abandoning the future.
3. // Catharsis //
Catharsis is the moment the pressure finally breaks. For years, I've been carrying pieces of an older identity: sounds, expectations, habits, and fears that once felt natural but slowly became restrictive. What began as growth turned into a cycle of hesitation, overthinking, and trying to fit into a version of myself I had already outgrown. This track is the release of that tension. It is not a clean transformation, but a necessary one. A final realization that change does not happen by preserving everything. Some parts have to be left behind.
4. // Void //
Void is the sound of a new beginning, but not a clean one. The old structure has collapsed, while the new one has not fully formed yet. What once defined the project has been left behind, creating space for something unknown. That space feels freeing, but also uncertain, because there is no familiar identity to return to and no fixed direction to follow. After the break, everything is open, but nothing is certain. Void captures that moment between endings and rebirth, where the absence of the old self becomes the condition for becoming something new.
